We accept boys who require residential therapeutic care due to trauma, neglect, abuse, abandonment, or other challenging circumstances.

Leon Valley New Beginning RTC serves boys facing emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges who need structured, trauma-informed residential care.

Referrals are accepted from state agencies, legal guardians, foster care systems, and licensed healthcare or mental health professionals.
The boy must require therapeutic and residential care based on evaluations from licensed mental health professionals.
The boy must not pose an immediate danger to himself or others, ensuring a safe community setting.
We accept both emergency and non-emergency admissions, with special consideration for urgent placement needs
Families or professionals reach out to our team by phone or email to discuss needs and learn about our program.
We provide an application to gather details about the boy’s background, including medical, emotional, and behavioral history
Our team reviews the application and may conduct a virtual or in-person evaluation to ensure proper fit and safety.
If approved, we send an acceptance letter and schedule intake, guiding the boy’s smooth transition into care.
 New Life RTC primarily works with state agencies for funding. For private placements, please contact us directly to discuss program fees and payment options.
Length of stay varies based on individual needs, typically ranging from several months to over a year, focused on achieving lasting healing and stability.
After admission, each youth begins an individualized treatment plan including therapy, education, life skills training, and family engagement, all designed to support healing and growth.
Yes, family involvement is encouraged through therapy sessions, regular updates, and visitation opportunities, fostering healing and reunification when possible.
Yes, we coordinate with local school districts or provide on-site educational support to ensure uninterrupted academic progress.
